Anna Kay is a Melbourne based artist and facilitator who has been drawing and painting all her life. She has been a practising visual artist for the past 11 years and her preferred medium is acrylic on canvas.
Anna's paintings experiment with colour and graphics, and incorporate themes from nature. Many of her paintings have a textural element and include mixed media such as fabric, collage, stencils and motifs.
Following two sellout exhibitions in 1999 and 2002, Anna has proved to be prolific, selling through retail stores, cafes and offices. Her pieces are in homes in Australia, New Zealand, UK and China.
In 2010, Anna continues to sell through retail outlets and takes on private commissions for clients. She facilitates classes in art experimentation, collage, and The Artist's Way.
Anna enjoys working with children and young adults to help inspire and nurture their creativity. She is available to visit your school or facilitate art and craft workshops at your next birthday party or function.
